I am tired. The headaches started Monday at 1:30 and continued today. You know those cobwebs you feel in your head and legs that are so efficiently swept away by a cup of coffee? Fruit juice helps but I was exhausted by the end of the day. Possibly not enough protein. My beloved has suggested I eat more nuts tomorrow and see if the protein provides me with more energy.
p.s. I like candy. |

For us so far the diet is a piece of cake...well, bad analogy there. Vonney made Debbie's tomato soup and with some seasoned potato chunks, it's a great meal. We did salsa and corn chips one night. Lunch is peanuts, raisins, fruit and V8 for me. I don't want to open the freezer because that Edy's double churned Chocolate Peanut Butter cup is playing my song.
My big issue is cutting out my usual glass of wine with dinner. It really helps me to sleep. I have been waking up every night at 2:00 am with a major league, Johnny Roseboro headache. Back in the 60's, Johnny Roseboro was a catcher for the Dodgers. They were playing the Giants and Juan Marichal, the Giants pitcher came off the mound, grabbed a Louisville Slugger and whopped Johnny upside the head with it. My head feels sorta like Johnny's about 2 am every night. I tried the peppermint oil miracle cure. My head told the peppermint oil after a good snort...'Is that the best you can do?' It just kept right on throbbing...so, this week I feel like I've had a lot of naps but no sleep. I am praying for sleep. |
